Candle Making Workshop

Discover the art of natural fragrance in a relaxed two-hour candle making workshop, created in partnership with Old Green.

You’ll explore how scent is constructed, from the distillation of essential oils to the way top, heart and base notes work together to create a balanced fragrance.

Along the way, you’ll also discover how provenance and raw ingredients shape the finished result.

With guidance from the Old Green team, you’ll choose from 20 natural essential oils and develop a fragrance that is entirely your own.

Your finished blend will then be poured using UK-grown rapeseed wax into a repurposed Witchmark bottle, creating a distinctive candle that brings together fragrance, craftsmanship and circular design.

Once your candle has been poured, there’ll be time to enjoy a tasting of Witchmark gin while it cools and is prepared for you to take home.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your finished candle, its reusable Witchmark vessel and a recipe card recording your personal fragrance blend and ingredients.

A creative, hands-on experience with a distinctly Witchmark connection, and something unique to enjoy long after your visit.
